Currently in its 7th year, MTN BUSHFIRE is Swaziland’s acclaimed international music and arts festival held each year at House on Fire, an inspired venue set against a breath-taking rural landscape in the heart of the Ezulwini valley.

MTN BUSHFIRE‘s annual Pan-African explosion includes a multi-faceted line up of the highest quality featuring live music, theatre, poetry, film, circus, dance and visual arts from all over the globe. Each year a diverse audience of up to 20,000 people come together over three days to celebrate cultural meeting points, fuelling a feast of magical performances from Africa and beyond.

MTN BUSHFIRE owes its unique spirit and atmosphere to a successful balance of world class festivities whilst championing socially responsible ideals. At its core is a practical commitment to inspiring and developing the Swazi arts and cultural scene, whilst raising awareness and funds to tackle the most pressing social needs in Swaziland. Along the way it generates significant income for the national economy and creates much-needed employment for local people.
